Hevolus Brings XR Copilot to XREAL Headsets, Bringing Agentic AI to Spatial Computing
Hevolus Innovation, an Italian deep tech company based in Molfetta, is integrating its XR Copilot platform into headsets from XREAL , a leading global manufacturer of extended reality (XR) hardware. The agreement positions the company among the top providers of agentic AI platforms within the global XREAL ecosystem.
XR Copilot on new Android XR devices
The partnership comes just days after the unveiling of Project Aura at Google I/O 2026, XREAL 's new wired XR glasses based on Google's Android XR operating system, powered by Gemini AI and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. XR Copilot will add a layer of agentic intelligence that can transform spatial computing devices into multi-agent enterprise environments.
Agentic AI and extended reality in a single platform
According to Hevolus, the enterprise AI market is currently divided between platforms dedicated to process automation and solutions focused on immersive experiences. XR Copilot aims to integrate these two fields into a single platform, enabling companies to deploy multi-agent workflows, connect them to enterprise systems via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) , and make them accessible through immersive XR experiences.
Among the planned features are:
enterprise agentic experiences on XREAL Air 2 Ultra, XREAL One Pro and the upcoming Project Aura devices;
Hevolus' proprietary 3D video agents and avatars integrated into XREAL viewers;
multilingual conversational support;
multi-agent orchestration via MCP;
Joint development tools for building agentic XR applications.
Artificial Intelligence beyond the chatbot
“Models and agents are becoming commodities. The real value lies in the Control Plane. With XREAL headsets, we extend that Control Plane to the most immediate interface for humans: the field of vision. This is how AI stops being a chatbot and becomes part of how people actually work,” comments Antonio Squeo, CEO and co-founder of Hevolus Innovation, a member of the Microsoft AI Foundry Advisory Council, in the statement.
“The future of computing is spatial and wearable. That's why we strongly believe in combining XREAL headsets with high-end software experiences,” adds Amir Khorram, global head of enterprise at XREAL.
The demo in Los Angeles
During the event at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, attendees were able to test several applications developed with XR Copilot through the XREAL Air 2 Ultra and XREAL One Pro headsets. The demonstrations included holographic reproductions of Italian monuments and iconic locations, including the Colosseum, Michelangelo's David, the Amalfi Coast and the Dolomites, animated by AI-powered Video Agents and accessible in multilingual conversational mode.
